Pieces of Mind is the artistic representation of Cade Andrews, a songwriter, producer, composer and actor born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota now residing in Los Angeles. At a young age, a love for creation and performance was found igniting a spark that stayed lit even throughout the coldest of midwest winters. After starting guitar and piano as a child it didn’t take long until an undeniable drive of self expression would follow alongside his instrumental abilities. Acoustic songwriting was the original forte for Pieces of Mind but after years of discovering an alternative carefree lifestyle of hip-hop beats and rapping, the true juxtaposition that now defines him was formed. Cade’s personal artistic mission is to find the balance between searching deeper within our existence while simultaneously coming to peace with all we were never meant to understand. Delving deeper into his discography, you will be enlightened to these themes through the mix of introspective compositions aligning alongside a carefree essence that reminds us to never take ourselves too seriously. Wavy beats, poetically raw lyricism, intimate songwriting, rock guitar, persuasively emotional vocals, classical and jazz influence, and tranquil chord voicings are just some of the elements that separates the young artist from everyone else.
